Regulator Says Water Bills will Reflect Information Given to Irish Water

The commission for energy regulation says their decisions on how water charges will be applied are aimed at delivering the fairest system possible.

It's urging anyone concerned about having college-going children or those who may live part of the year in another home to contact Irish Water and let them know.

Water charges have come into affect toady, with an average cost of €238 a year and a cap on the amount anyone will have to pay for nine months. 

Speaking on Clare FM's Morning Focus Cathy Mannion with the CER says bills will reflect the information given to the utility.
