The man behind the rejected 6 million euro supermarket development in West Clare is hopeful something will still come from it.
An Bord Pleanala rejected the County Council backed project which would have created over a 120 jobs, on several grounds.
The planning authority said it would contravene the local area plan, was prejudicial to the orderly development of the west Clare town and that the proposed car park was excessive.
