It comes as the number of people left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning has matched an all-time high of 66 – twenty more than any other hospital in the country.

The UL Hospitals Group has said in the past, that there aren't enough resources availble to provide a fully operational ED in the county town, but Councillor Clare Colleran Molloy says this latest crisis is evidence that reconfiguration hasn't worked.
