There are renewed fears today for the 670 jobs at the Liebherr crane manufacturing plant in Co Kerry.
The Labour Court had proposed that the German company pay a 2.5 per cent increase in wages – backdated to May 2012.

Management had sought changes to work practices in return at the operation in Killarney.
However around half of the workforce – represented by SIPTU – last night voted to reject the deal.
Last month – Liebherr said it was re-evaluating its dependence on the plant – because of the four year pay row.
