A renowned North Clare concertina player has been named as the MÓRglór Award winner for 2018.
Chris Droney has been lauded as an inspiration to musicians near and far and has previously been awarded with a number of accolades including the TG4 Grádam Saoil award for lifetime achievement.
The MÓRglór Award is bestowed on a different musician every year by the glór theatre, for their Outstanding Contribution to Traditional Music in the county.

Chris will be honoured with the award on Saturday night and says it’ll be a family affair.
