Works will begin to repair Kilkee's historic sea wall today.
Over 12 Months on from the storms that devastated Clare's coastal towns, businness people say they're disappointed it's taken so long to begin works.

The road sank in places as a result of the storms and has been closed off to traffic since.
Clare County Council is still hopeful of receiving additional money to put towards fixing the over 36 million euro worth of damage caused by storms Christine and Brigid.
So far just 17.6 has been allocated and Kilkee is one of 28 locations where repairs are still required.
