There was a rise in the number of drink driving arrests across Clare this weekend.
While one person only was arrested in the same weekend last year, Gardaí have revealed that this rose to five this weekend.

There were also 17 accidents with material damage in the county btween Friday and Monday, compared to 14 in the same period last year.
