There's been an unwelcome spike in Clare's live register.
The number of people signing on here rose by nearly 200 last month, with the bulk of this coming in North and West Clare
November saw rises in all areas of the county, but with the tourism season now well and truly over Clare's coastal areas seem to have born the brunt of this latest increase.
In areas associated with the Ennistymon Social Welfare Office, there's ben an increase of 117 in the past month, while the rise in West Clare was 63.
In Ennis the dole queues increased by 12, while the figure for East Clare was one.
Despite this, the total figure of 6,459 is still 12.6% or 936 less than the same time last year.
The greater Ennis area has accounted for nearly two-thirds of this drop.
