The Market area of Ennis has re-opened to traffic, after the completion of a forensic examination following last night’s fatal accident.
67 year old Joe O’Loughlin, with an address at Newtown, Corofin, lost his life when the car he was driving struck a parked vehicle just after 10 o’clock last night.

Three other people were in the vehicle at the time, but their injuries were not serious.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who might have witnessed the incident to come forward.
