A motorist has has been caught driving at almost 70 kilometres per hour over the speed limit on the N18 dual carriageway.
Gardaí say the incident happened at Bunratty yesterday, when the driver was detected doing 168 kilometres per hour in the 100 kilometres zone.
Court proceedings will follow.
