Gardaí from Gort attended the scene of a road traffic accident on the M18 motorway.
The incident occurred around 12.30pm on the Southbound portion of the motorway, between the turn-offs for Ardrahan and Gort.
There are accident has now been cleared but motorists in the area are advised to drive with caution and to expect delays.
