Rural Ireland is being hit the hardest by emigration.
That’s just one of the findings of a study carried out by UCC which found that 1 in 4 families in rural areas have experienced a family member moving abroad.

It’s also estimated that a further 28 per cent of families will see a loved one leave Ireland in the next three years.
