Ennistymon’s new garda superintendent believes early intervention at school level is key to tackling serious drug problems.
Cork native Colm O’Sullivan who was appointed as successor to Superintendent Peter Duff has spent ten years in the drugs squad and says he’s keenly aware of the problems associated with drug abuse and will be liaising with his teams to assess the situation locally.
Among his other main objectives over the coming weeks and months will be to address the issues of
social isolation and anti social behaviour
