Ryanair is promising to bring more new routes to Shannon.

The airline's Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Michael Cawley visited the area yesterday to discuss their plans for 9 new routes.
The services – announced late last year -come in the wake of the withdrawal of the travel tax and Ryanair says an additional 300,000 people will travel through Shannon per year as a result.
