Ryanair services between Shannon and the UK resumed this morning with the first flight in a week departing for Stansted at 6.30
The low fares carrier has a further 6 scheduled flights and passengers are still being urged to only arrive at Irish airports if they have confirmed bookings.

The Aer Lingus schedule resumed yesterday and a spokesperson for Shannon Airport expects the mid west facility to be running normally by this evening
