Ryanair has been urged to automatically refund passengers the travel tax to passengers who have already paid the charge through advance bookings.
Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley says it’s not fair that the airline is forcing consumers to fill out forms in order to receive the money.
The three euro tax is to be scrapped from July 1st, meaning people who have already booked flights after that date have already paid the tax, even though it will not be collected.
