Clare residents are being encouraged to stay safe as they get out and keep active in 2016.
As the New Year begins, many are expected to turn to exercise as part of their resolutions, and some will stroll along the county's coastal walks or beaches.

However, Clare's Water Safety Officer, Clare McGrath, is reminding walkers not to walk on the beach when the tide is coming on and to utilise walkways away from cliff edges.
