Ennis school principals are set to meet today to discuss the growing concerns about head shops in Clare’s county town.
It’s been organised by the HSE and is being held to inform schools about the possible dangers faced by students from some of the so called legal highs on sale in the retail outlets.
The concerns of local councillors, parents and schools about drug substitutes in head shops were raised at a recent meeting of the joint policing committee in Ennis, but Gardai have pointed out that the shops in question are breaking no laws.
