A seal that was badly injured in August is set to be released back into the wild this afternoon
Kieran, the seal will hit the waves in Kilkee at 2 o’clock this afternoon following weeks of treatment during which he had a bone infection.
The Irish Seal sanctuary have been looking after him and spokesperson Laura O’Shaughnessy says he’s fit enough to be put back into the water alone now..
