Fire Officers in Kilrush are not Clare's latest lotto winners.
Speculation had been high that the team – who have a regular syndicate – had won €8.3 million euro in Wednesday night's draw.

The win is the largest amount ever for a Clare Lotto ticket and was sold in Miniter's shop Kilrush last Saturday.
So far, however, the lucky owner or owners of the ticket have not come forward.
