The search has resumed for five fishermen missing after their trawler sank yesterday.
The ‘Tit Bonhomme’ was returning to its home port of Union Hall in Cork when it struck rocks – just one of the crew was rescued.
Among the missing are the vessel’s skipper, 52 year old father of four Michael Hayes, as well as 21 year old Kevin Kershaw from Clonakilty who was on his first fishing trip

A sea and shoreline search involving lifeboats, coastguard units including the Shannon Coastguard Helicopter and other trawlers will continue today.
