The Metropolitan Police in London has confirmed that it has received a report of a Scarriff man missing in the city.
Posts on social media say John Dowdall, who is in his thirties, was last seen in the Cricklewood area of the city four days ago – he had been in the area during a visit to the city.

His photograph has now been shared online via social media, and police in the city are expected to issue an appeal for information this afternoon.
