The EPA has been warned that lives could be put at risk in Shannon, amid ongoing concerns about an odour in the town.
The Environmental Protection Agency is continuing to investigate the latest smell in the town, which was first reported last Wednesday. However, local representatives say people are justifiably angry and concerned that the issue has re-emerged, and fearful that the public’s health is being put at risk.

Shannon Fine Gael Senator Tony Mulcahy has told the EPA that he’s afraid lives are at risk, and wants the EPA to step up it’s monitoring controls.
