Staff at the region’s main hospital are continuing to deal with serious patient overcrowding.
Daily figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are currently 21 people being treated on trolleys in the A&E department at Limerick Regional Hospital- with a further 20 on temporary beds in the wards.
There are currently no difficulties in Ennis General however – 16 patients in are on trolleys awaiting a bed at University Hospital Galway
