Seven Clare festivals are to share over 80,000 euro in Arts Council funding.
The Willie Clancy Festival, held in Miltown Malbay last month, has taken the lions share of the funds at 60 thousand.
6,000 euro has been given to the Summer Music on the Shannon group, with 5,500 to the Feakle International Traditional Music Festival, which will be held next weekend.
Ennis Street Festival and the Crotty/Galvin Traditional Music Festival Weekend both receive 3,000 euro, with 2,000 each for Music in the Glen in Killaloe/Ballina and the Willie Keane Memorial Weekend in Doonbeg.
