7 traveller families have left an illegal halting site in Dundalk after they were evicted by Gardai this morning.
Up to 12 families had been living at the site off the N52 in Dundalk in Co Louth for the last 5 months after they were evicted from another site – Woodland Park.

A number of them left last night after Gardai told them they would be forced to move.
Two men were arrested for obstruction during the operation this morning – they have since been released.
