The union which represents cabin crew at Aer Lingus including over a hundred staff at Shannon Airport have presented a new proposal to the company following overnight talks.
The cost-cutting measures specifically for cabin crew are expected to be in the region of 20 million and will be discussed by the airline’s board at a meeting later today.

It follows Aer Lingus decision to press ahead with compulsory redundancies and it’s believed the Shannon-New York route will be the first casualty as the company’s taskforce will focus on reducing aircraft numbers and capacity
