Aer lingus and IMPACT – which represents cabin crew at Shannon Cork and Dublin- are entering separate talks a the Labour Relations Commission later this morning.
Management at the former state carrier are stressing that the discussions do not mean it’s reopening negotiations on its cost cutting plan when they get underway at 9 o’clock.
Aer Lingus announced last week it was imposing 230 compulsory redundancies among its cabin crew including over a hundred at Shannon- who rejected the airline’s cost saving plan.
