Shannon Airport management are hoping the Wild Atlantic Way will create another gathering our tourists for the west coast this year.
Shannon Chief Executive Neil Pakey, says the newly launched scenic driving route is one of the smartest things that any tourism body across Europe has done for a long time.

Describing it as a game changing initiative, the Airport Chief says it will give the type of fresh impetus to the tourism industry along the route on an annual basis that the Gathering did for the nation last year.
