The performance of Shannon Cork and Dublin airports comes under the spotlight today
The Chief Executive of the Dublin Airport Authority which is responsible for the three, is appearing before the Oireachtas Transport Committee to discuss the authority’s accounts and annual report for last year, in the wake of the economic downturn.
Passenger numbers last year across the three main airports fell by around 13% to 26.1 million – while profits also dropped.- Shannon took the worst of the hit
