The CEO of the Shannon Airport Authority has predicted more modest growth there next year.
Neil Pakey says their focus will be on route retention, after this year saw a number of new route announcements and a 15 per cent increase in passenger numbers.

Shannon's growth has been honoured internationally, and the Airport has now scooped it's greatest industry accolade yet, by winning the overall Airport Achievement Award for 2014/2015 from the European Regions Airline Association.
It's a second major international award in less than two weeks, and Neil Pakey paid tribute to the team there for their efforts.
