Shannon Airport is hoping that it can harness its support amongst the Clare public by making a few extra friends.
A meeting takes place at Shannon this evening with a view to setting up a voluntary support body which would see local volunteers get more involved in the Airport.

The meeting takes place at 5:30 and people are asked to register if they're going, while the idea is modelled on a similar group which was at Liverpool Airport when current Shannon CEO Neil Pakey was boss there.
He has outlined how it worked there.
