Some 2,000 children will join Santa in flying 15,000 feet in the skies today above Co Clare today.
The annual Santa flights are taking off from Shannon Airport today and tomorrow, marking the seventh year of the much-anticipated event.
More than €200,000 has been raised for worthy causes across the Midwest thanks to the flights to date.

This year, Limerick Suicide Watch and the Irish Cancer Society will be the beneficiaries.
