The Shannon company that designed the drill which secured the release of the chilean miners has received another accolade.
Mincon Enginnering has been awarded an Enginners Ireland Excellence Award following their role in the dramatic release of the 33 men who were trapped underground for over 70 days.
They received the prize for the " Engineering News Story of the Year" at the Shelbourne Hotel on Friday night.
