World-renowned traditional musician Sharon Shannon and her manager John Dunford have consented to a court judgement for 520,000 euro to be registered against them.
Permanent TSB sought the judgement from the Master of the High Court, both jointly and separately, after the pair allegedly failed to make repayments on a 402 thousand euro loan taken out in 2006.
The bank claimed that to consecutive repayments were missed in 2012, and under its terms the balance became due.
The High Court was told that Ms. Shannon, originally from Ruan/Corofin and with an address at Devon Gardens, Salthill, Co. Galway, and John Dunford or Corbawn, Shankill Dublin, concented to judgement in favour of the bank.
A six-month stay was placed on the execution of the order, which was agreed by all parties
