Clare’s local representatives have welcomed SIPTU’s decision to call off a planned work stoppage against Aer Lingus at Shannon, Cork and Dublin Airports next Monday.
However, calls have been made for both sides to find a solution which would be good for the company, it’s staff and it’s passengers.

Officials from SIPTU have voted to withdraw the planned industrial action after the airline agreed to attend a non binding hearing at the Labour Court, which local representatives say is vitally important for passengers who plan to travel through Shannon during the upcoming Christmas period.
