After 70 years in business, Shannon duty free will hold its first ever reunion.
Around 500 people have worked full time at the shop at Shannon Airport and now a call has been made for all of those to come together for a celebration at the end of this month.
Reunion organiser Denis Kelly, who worked at the world’s first duty free from 1967 to 1989, has seen dramatic changes at Shannon Airport over the years, from exclusive first class travel to jet planes and big crowds.

He says it will be the first time many of them will see each other in half a century.
