Shannon and Ennis Chambers have issued a joint appeal for people in Clare to think locally when doing their shopping and support businesses at home.
The groups say that local businesses have opened back up at considerable cost to ensure that their premises are safe and their measures are in line with government guidelines.
Vice President of Shannon Chamber, Eoin Gavin, says we must support our businesses in these challenging times.

He believes that while people may travel elsewhere for cheaper options, we have to start thinking differently about our purchases.
