Shannon Airport is preparing for a 96 percent drop in passengers this year compared to Christmas 2019, according to reports.
The county’s airport has had no scheduled services since mid-November, with Ryanair’s routes from Stansted, Manchester and Wroclaw set to resume later this month.
The Irish Examiner reports Shannon is preparing for just 4 per cent of its custom from last year.
