Shannon Airport services have been boosted today as a new route to London- Gatwick takes flight.
It will originate in the UK and be the earliest daily London service to the Mid West boosting connectivity to the region as Gatwick services more than 200 destinations in 90 countries.
With Shannon Airport not expected to break even this year following plummeting passenger numbers over the past eighteen months, managment hope that the new service will form part of ongoing efforts to turn the corner in the Mid West.
