The CEO of Shannon Group says they're targeting growth in employment and tourism in 2017.

This year has seen a number of positive boosts at Shannon Airport, headlined by the decisions of Lufthansa, SAS and Norwegian airlines to operate new routes there next year.
Tourism numbers have also surged ahead at Shannon Heritage properties, while plans are also afoot for investment in Shannon Group's industrial properties.
Matthew Thomas is hopeful that their plans will reap benefits for the region next year.
