Managment at Shannon Airport have been recounting Barack Obama’s first pint of the "black stuff".
Yesterday, the US President revealed that he drank his first Irish pint of Guinness at the Mid West Airport while on a stop-over to Afghanistan and remarked that the black stuff tasted much better here than in the US.
Operations Manager at Shannon Airport Niall Maloney was present on the night that the then Senator Obama had a stopover at Shannon in 2008, and has told Clare FM it was clear he was a "very charismatic individual."
