Shannon Airport recorded an increase in passenger numbers for last month.
Nearly 117,000 passengers flew through Clare’s international airport in October, an increase of 5,200 or 5% on the same timeframe last year.

But while US passengers were responsible for the majority of the summer growth at Shannon, the greatest levels of growth at Shannon were seen on European routes.
