In a statement to Clare FM, the co-op says 20 Killaloe patients were seen last week at its other centres, an increase from the 14 patients in the first week of October.
While in West Clare, patient numbers rose from 40 to 42 patients across the same period, with most of these seen in Miltown Malbay.
However, Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley says adequate Out Of Hours GP cover is still not in place and is calling on Health Minister Simon Harris to intervene directly.
