There’s shock in Ennis following the deaths of a local man, his wife and six year old daughter in the USA.
Michael Glynn, formerly of Clon Road in Ennis, was killed in a house fire at his home in New Jersey at the on Saturday morning which also claimed the life of his wife Heather and their daughter Tara.
Ocean County Prosecutors in New Jersey say they’re treating the deaths of the family as a tragic accident.
48 year old Michael Glynn was a union dock worker who lived in the states for many years – he’d lived at Toms River since 2006 with his 42 year old wife Heather and their 6 year old daughter Tara. Mr Glynn is survived by his brothers in Ennis, as well as sisters in Kilrush, Cork and Italy
