The Quilty man who died following a fire at his home yesterday has been named as Michael O’Boyle.
86 year old Mr O’Boyle was pronounced dead after Gardaí and the fire service attended his home in Seaview Park in Quilty yesterday morning.

His body was brought to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick for a post mortem but Gardai in Ennistymon have ruled out any foul play.
Local Councillor Michael Hillery says the deceased man will be fondly remembered in the area.
