Around €200,000 worth of heroin has been uncovered by Gardaí following an operation in South East Clare.
A home in the O'Briens Bridge area was searched last night during a planned operation involving officers from the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit, based at Henry Street Garda Station, and the Shannon Drugs Unit.

1.5kg of what's believed to be heroin was discovered – it's being sent for forensic analysis and has an estimated street value of over €200,000.
A man was arrested and is being detained at Roxboro Garda Station in Limerick.
