An opinion poll today shows Sinn Fein has more than twice the level of voter support as Labour.
The survey conducted by Ipsos/MRBI on behalf of the Irish Times show that 10 per cent opted for Labour – that’s a 3 point slip – while 24 per cent said Sinn Fein – that’s a 3 point jump for Gerry Adams party.

There was also good news for Fianna Fail which went up by three points to 17 per cent.
Fine Gael was down one point to 32 per cent, and Independents and others went down 2 points to 15 per cent.
