300 nursing members of SIPTU have joined their colleagues in the INMO by voting in favour of industrial action at four Midwest hospitals, including Ennis General.
92% of the SIPTU members have backed plans for a work-to-rule in protest at plans to deal with overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick.

An overwhelming majority of INMO members did likewise earlier this month – both groups will begin their work to rule on the February 3rd.
