New figures show that six women were the victims of domestic killings in Clare, over the last 22 years.
Five of the women involved died at the hands of a partner or ex-partner.
The findings, from the latest Femicide Watch Report by Women’s Aid, show that the vast majority of female murder victims know their killers.

She says a number of local events will highlight these killings as part of the ’16 Days of Action’ campaign.
